| Making a positive
difference in the lives of people in the Dallas - Fort Worth Metroplex
and beyond is what powers Stuart Matthews. His music, leadership
training and life-application teaching has provided hope and inspiration
to people around the world.
His wife Gloria and their three children, sons Ryan and Quinlan, and daughter Haley provide the catalyst to continue learning and growing to reach all that life has to offer. A cancer survivor since 1994, Stuart has devoted the remainder of his days to helping others discover all they were meant to be. Majoring in Business Management at the University of Oklahoma's Price College of Business, Stuart has utilized these skills and more to achieve success in the marketplace. His work experience includes marketing, management and sales, ranging from heavy construction and mining equipment to being a licensed stock broker and financial advisor. He has experienced the ups and downs of business as well, building a multi-million dollar global marketing company for the machinery industry only to see his entire investment wiped out by the aftermath of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, which paralyzed the markets during a critical growth period for his company. In his leisure time, Stuart produces motivational articles and weekly life-application lessons that currently reach subscribers on 4 continents. His music has been shared with audiences across the southwest, from small groups to being part of the Emmanuel Tour in Dallas along with Michael W. Smith, Larnelle Harris and other artists. He is also very involved in his children's activities, serving as the "Voice of the South Grand Prairie Warrior Band" and providing public address work for many youth football and cheerleading events. Giving of his time and talents is a priority. His life models a quote by William Arthur Ward said, "Learn and grow all you can; serve and befriend all you can; enrich and inspire all you can. |
